The Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence seeks a highly motivated and skilled individual to lead the implementation of ACADV’s mission. The Executive Director will be required to focus on developing and supervising programs specific to the mission of the agency, write grants, organize fundraising events and have strong skills in fiscal and resource management. A minimum of a master’s degree in Social Services, Human Services, Business Administration, Development, related field, or equivalent experience is required. ACADV provides training, technical assistance, and increasing financial support for local domestic violence programs; service providers for victims of intimate partner violence; and other stakeholders, including governmental agencies. The ACADV provides a variety of support and services for several programs. This includes topical meetings, site visits, intensive technical assistance and consultation, regional meetings, management of a participant listserv and the creation of resource materials.
