The Executive Director is responsible for leadership of 10 employees all committed to achieving our mission and goals and providing quality services to our participants. Besides supervision of employees, the Executive Director leads the agency in the reporting and creation of grant proposals, creating and maintaining a budget of half a million dollars, representing the organization at events and within the community, and working with the Board of Directors.
This is a full time position requiring some evenings and weekends.
Preferred qualifications of the successful candidate are:
Major responsibilities include annual budget, monthly and quarterly reporting, research and grant proposal writing, hiring and supervision of staff, oversight of operations, collaboration with other community leaders, prepare and conduct public presentations, support fundraising efforts and provide reports to our funders and the board.
