Summary:

The Housing Services Advocate provides information, support, safety planning and advocacy services in a housing first model.  The advocate will focus increasing domestic violence survivors’ knowledge of transitional and permanent housing options available in the community through establishing linkages with homeless service providers, landlords, property managers, and other community resources.  The Housing Services Advocate is also responsible for conducting a housing needs/barriers assessment for survivors contacting Home Free for housing services, as well as providing assistance to petitioners in the Restraining Order Room at the Multnomah County Courthouse.
