2014 Core Advocate Training

Monday, October 6, 2014 (All day) - Friday, October 10, 2014 (All day)
This training is open to advocates who provide legal, medical, crisis, and other types of support to survivors of sexual violence. It will cover the foundational topics of sexual assault advocacy in supporting adult and adolescent survivors.

The training has a limited capacity and thus priority will be given to those:

-who have not previously received comprehensive basic sexual assault training

-whose primary duties are to provide advocacy to sexual assault survivors

The training will take place on October 6th-10th, 2014 from approximately 8am-5pm. You must be able to attend the entire week to be eligible to attend. The training will take place at:

Applications will be accepted through Friday August 29th. You will be notified of your application status no later than September 5th, 2014.

A limited number of scholarships to cover travel (lodging, meals, mileage) are available based on need. If you wish to apply for a scholarship, please complete the entire scholarship application portion below after the basic application.
