In an effort to stop domestic violence, Jacksons Food Stores and its customers have come together to raise funds for the annual Give the Gift of Peace
Campaign. This campaign helps raise funds for the prevention of domestic and dating violence and free civil legal services for victims through community awareness.
Between November 28th through December 25th, purchase a paper dove at any Jacksons Food Stores locations throughout Oregon
in $1, $5, and $10 increments. The funds raised will be donated to promote domestic violence prevention programming and victim response advocacy services.
All proceeds are also matched dollar for dollar by the Jackson family, up to $75,000 each year. Since the campaign's inception in 2003, Jacksons Food Stores and their customers have raised over $600,000. The 2012 campaign was the highest grossing in the program’s history.
