Support Local Efforts

One of the very best ways to get involved is in your own community.  Many of the community-based programs that offer support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault are nonprofit organizations and depend on individual donations and volunteer efforts to keep their doors open.

Sexual Assault Victim Emergency Medical Response (SAVE) Fund

The Sexual Assault Victim Emergency Medical Response (SAVE) fund, administered by the Oregon Department of Justice, Crime Victims' Assistance Section (CVAS), is used to pay for medical and forensic medical exams for victims of sexual assault in Oregon.

Donations to the SAVE Fund are tax deductible. Click here to make a secure on-line donation to the SAVE Fund.

Oregon Charitable Tax Check Off

The Oregon Charitable Tax Check Off is a quick and easy way to support the continued work of the Coalition and all of its member programs. By writing in code #22 or choosing the box “Stop Domestic and Sexual Violence” on Oregon's state income tax reporting form, filers may donate all or a designated amount of their tax return to this campaign. Proceeds from this campaign are then divided between all of the Coalition’s member programs across the state to support the following services:
  • Crisis lines
  • Emergency shelter
  • Advocate salaries,
  • Client assistance
  • Transportation to shelter or out of the local area to ensure safety
  • Support groups
  • Accompaniment to court
  • Assistance with restraining and stalking orders
  • Accompaniment to hospital
  • Community education
  • Information and referral

Please support the Coalition and your local domestic and sexual violence programs by donating all or part of your 2013 income tax return! For additional information, please see:
