Survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking are entitled to certain protections under Oregon landlord-tenant law. Under these laws, survivors are not to be discriminated against for the violence perpetrated against them. They also provide avenues for breaking or splitting leases to help facilitate escape from an abusive situation or to legally remove perpetrators.
