Sunriver Resort (800) 547-3922
17600 Center Dr. (Map & Driving Directions)
Sunriver, Oregon 97707
Unless you are a confirmed workshop presenter, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BOOKING YOUR OWN LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS, whether you plan to stay at the Sunriver Resort (OCADSV block rate: $89/night + 8% tax; their contact info is above) or elsewhere (group rental cabins, etc).
In previous years, all available hotel rooms at the Sunriver Resort have booked up very quickly for our conference. If you are unable to book a lodging reservation at the Sunriver Resort, you can still register for and attend the conference. However, you will need to reserve your own lodging accommodations off-site, either in a private Sunriver rental home or a hotel in nearby Bend, Oregon (a short 20 minute drive from Sunriver Resort).
Current registration fees can be found on the Web Registration Form. These costs include attendance at all workshop sessions, breakfast and lunch on Monday 6/16, breakfast and lunch on Tuesday 6/17, and breakfast on Wednesday 6/18. Registration fees do not include lodging accommodations; these must be booked individually by the attendees, whether through Sunriver Resort or another off-site location.
Coalition Member Programs from Regions 1-7 are eligible for scholarships to defray the cost of attendance for up to two (2) of their staff members (more information on scholarships); additional staff members and all registrants that are not affiliated with a Member Program are subject to registration fees.
Please make all checks payable to "OCADSV" and mail payment to:
Attn: 2014 Annual Conference
1737 NE Alberta St, Suite 205
Portland, OR 97211
Please note that due to budget constraints, Individual and Affiliate Coalition members are not eligible for scholarships. However, discounted registration rates are available for Individual and Affiliate Members.
Confirmed Workshop Presenters will receive compensation that may include monetary honoraria, one day of no-cost conference registration (breakfast, lunch and workshop attendance) and/or one night of lodging at Sunriver Resort (see your contract issued by Dian Hilliard, our Conference Coordinator for specifics).
Presenters who wish to attend the rest of the conference need to register using the WORKSHOP PRESENTER REGISTRATION button below, then inform Dian Hilliard of their plans immediately so that their hotel reservations can be modified accordingly. Workshop Presenters and/or their organizations will be financially responsible for the remainder of each Workshop Presenters' registration and lodging costs, unless other arrangements have been made with Coalition staff.
We recommend that Presenters who are affiliated with a Coalition Member Program and wish to attend the entire conference pay for the remainder of their stay, instead of using their organization's designated scholarship "slots". This simplifies the accounting process and hopefully avoids us having to reconcile workshop presenter compensation, scholarship reimbursement, and registration fees on a single reimbursement check. If this is not feasible or you don't understand what this means, please contact Jonathan Gates, Social Media & Events Coordinator.
We are pleased to offer no-cost childcare (provided by Sunriver Resort; ages 5-12 ONLY) for all attendees! Please indicate on your registration form whether you will need child care.
Children ages 12 and under who are accompanying their parent/guardian at the conference are welcome to join their parent/guardian at all Conference-provided meals at no cost.
Non-attending adults and children ages 13 and over that wish to accompany registered conference attendees at conference-provided meals must pay a $30.25 per person, per meal fee. We recognize that this cost may be an issue for some conference attendees with teenage children, but several alternatives are available. Sunriver Resort offers several dining options outside of the conference and the town of Sunriver itself has a supermarket and several off-site restaurants available.
