However, this information is provided “as-is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Additionally, any information and services listed are subject to change.

Third-party links and content

Occasionally and at our discretion, OCADSV may include, distribute, offer, or refer to third-party resources/products/services (hereafter referred to as “content”). We include third-party content in OCADSV web properties and other resources for informational purposes only, and our inclusion of any third-party content does not constitute an endorsement of said content, its creators, or distributors by the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence or any of our members. In general, OCADSV does not receive compensation in exchange for sharing third-party content. In the event that we do receive compensation (e.g. a third-party organization sponsors an OCADSV event, so we post a thank you message on the www.ocadsv.org website), a clear written explanation will be provided adjacent to the relevant content.

OCADSV staff evaluates all third-party content for factual accuracy, relevance and value to our constituent communities, and reputability of the author/source/vendor. Content creators who would like us to consider adding materials to this website may connect with us through our contact form.

Resources and materials from third parties have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of third parties. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our resources and welcome any feedback about any third-party content we include, distribute, offer, or refer to by using our contact form.

Social media policies

Trigger and content warnings

On this page, we frequently and openly discuss domestic violence, rape, sexual assault, stalking, and other forms of interpersonal violence. Everything we post and share is carefully weighed for its collective benefit vs. potential for re-traumatizing others, and posts that contain particularly graphic or disturbing content will be preceded by a content warning in their remarks/comments/description.

Community guidelines

Posts or comments that are deemed to be in poor taste and/or contain threats, hate speech, personal attacks, defamation, or spam (i.e. promotion of a product, service, or cause without the prior permission of the Coalition) will not be tolerated, and may be hidden or deleted by the OCADSV communications team without warning.

OCADSV does not share or re-post crowd-funding requests by or on behalf of individuals.

We re-post awareness and fundraising events for OCADSV member programs in good standing upon request. All other requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you’d like us to signal-boost your program or event, send us a message or email socialmedia@ocadsv.org.

Repeat violators of this policy may be banned at the discretion of Coalition staff.

Google’s advertising requirements can be summed up by Google’s Advertising Principles: https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/1316548?hl=en

Our website DOES NOT use Google AdSense, which places personalized advertisements on participating websites as a revenue source.

How does our site handle do not track signals?

We honor do not track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place.

We use Google Analytics, an online platform that collects aggregate data about visitors to our website and how site visitors interact with our web content. All information collected by Google Analytics is generally non-identifiable (e.g. city and state, type of device used, pages visited on ocadsv.org) and is only used to improve our website’s content, accessibility, and user-friendliness.

We HAVE NOT enabled Google Analytics Advertising Features, which would collect more detailed demographic and interest data about site visitors.
